MOLA Normal Modes Analysis

Table of Modes and Effective Weights

MOLA Normal Modes Run

If you would like to download the text file containing modes up to 750 Hz, click on molamode.txt. (You may have to hold down the shift key before you click on it so the file is saved to your hard drive--otherwise, you will probably just view it.)

Several of the lower mode shapes of the model are available for viewing.

The moments of inertia of the results given below were calculated about the model's origin, which is located on the optical axis at the midplane of the honeycomb support panel (see the exploded view for the exact location). There is also a need for the effective weight information with the origin located in the plane where the feet meet the Nadir Panel (i.e., the spacecraft). That information is also available by downloading the file basemode.txt.

Totals presented below are for modes up to 1000 Hz.
